Lovina is located in the northest part of the Bali Island. Near town Singaraja, which used to be the Capital during the Dutch colonial period, now, Lovina is a very quiet and peaceful destination for an escape from one's busy life.
Once upon arrival, I knew I had reached a right place.
Thank to the holy vocalnos in Indonesia, the land is full of magic The peaceful Lovina black beach |
I lived in a beach-front 6-room hotel called Lovina Villa Agung Beach Inn. Love that tree!!! (I shall make another post for lovely Villa Agung Beach Inn:D) |
Have waked up from a short nap before starting my journey in Lovina, I was indeed shocked when I went to hotel's restaurant for dinner. What an incredible dinner with such a luxurious view!
Sunset, feels like in the movie scene |

Sun just woke up^^ |
Sorry, dolphins! I should not have disturbed your life. |

Back from sunrise boat tour, we were welcomed with fresh home-made bread and jam, fruits and coffee. I guess mum was so impressed by such a special morning; she stood on the black beach and watched the sea for a pretty long while with something in her mind. Maybe this is how life slows down here.
Luckily, in Lovina, the sky is still blue and the water is still clear, and what more I could say - let us preserve the environment that one day, one day that we may still have a chance to hug and kiss the lovely nature.
I am really impressed by the picture of the sunset you took on the boat:)
ReplyDeleteI remember one of my friends at middle school once went sightseeing to Bali then came back with reggae hair with her! :P
Wow. Your pictures are truely stunning. That one of the dolphins is amazing. You are seriously making me think about going to Bali before I go to Thailand. Thailand used to be a top priority!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your article~
ReplyDeleteI think it would really fresh up my soul if I could see that kind of sea scenary! The black beach is very unique.
And the dolphins! I would like to see dolphins jumping in the sea, not in the aquarium~
@Lisa, on the boat was sunrise:D I cannot forget my time in Lovina, I love it so much!
ReplyDelete@daysindeajeon, Bali is easy and cheap to travel around, it would be better to go at a good weather time, 7-9, 12-2 seem to be the peak. Place like Lovina is still quiet even in the high seasons:)
@redbybeing, haha, if i always go somewhere like that it seriously make me think of becoming a volunteering worker. Maybe i can really do like.
that
